2016 US McRib coming back to …

We have received information regarding the upcoming 2016 US McRib season! Our long-time friends from the McDonald’s Association of NEPA (Northeastern Pennsylvania) have informed us the McRib will be back on their menus starting November 7th! They also expect the McRib to be on their menus through the end of the year. We will be providing more specifics to the participating locations shortly and then information about potential early releases in this region as we receive it.

Elsewhere:
In the past the McDonalds locations in NEPA received their McRibs a bit earlier in the cycle than many locations in the lower 48 Us States. This leaves us optimistic that we will see it spread out to other locations around or shortly after November 7th.
Unfortunately, it is not all good news. A fan recently contacted a corporate owner of many McDonalds locations in New York, and Connecticut and was told that the McRib was not returning there this season. This would also infer that there will not be a nationwide release, rather a continuation of the trend where each location/region decides if/when to offer it.

If you happen to find the McRib, please report it at http://mcriblocator.com and then if possible take a photo of your receipt showing the McRib purchase and email that to photos@mcriblocator.com so that your sighting can be updated to confirmed. With your help we can get the McRib into the hands of as many fans as possible. Thank you!

I live in Southern California, and the stingy bastards skipped us last year! They had better not do that to me again this year!

I feel you! I am also in SoCal and didn’t find one until I went home to the central valley for Thanksgiving. The Struggle.

They need to stop this marketing game and have it yearly for limited time. This teasing us just makes me upset. As it is McDonalds food is bad for us all. I try not to eat it and eat a clean diet but the mcrib would make me go, and not just once. Bring it back everywhere damn it…

I live in the Atlantic City area and we haven’t seen a McRib around here in 5 years. But we can get a hamburger with mushrooms. I would love to have the McRib all year. How many different burgers do we need? I want my McRib damn it!

What is the deal (Oregon)?? And why did McDonalds give the stores a choice as to whether or not they serve them or not??

Ya, I’m in SoCal too and dying for a McRib and I think this is what we get for having all the over the top health nuts around here. The Franchise owners see a big chunk of pork covered in Barb-q sauce and say ” Oh no….these people just want Salads”. I bet they get it in the Mid West.

I have visited McDonald’s once in the last two years to get a hash brown for my son. That might change if they bring McRib back to MN. Snubbed for too long.

An IOS10 app is totally useless for finding the McRibb. Apple users are more likley to be eating Tall Fescue and Kentucky Why don’t they just sell it in every McDonald’s. That’s why I have given up on McDonald’s all together. Sick of this stupid game

I really want the mcrib here in gainesville, florida. The manager told me it wasn’t coming this year because of the 3 different big macs. ..

This is so sad. McDonald’s should sell them in all store. Have not seen one in years. Same old stuff. Ate there 3 times a week. Not anymore. Don’t understand. Many people in my area feel the same. Jamestown N.Y. area

They normally got released in Colorado in Oct-Nov yet not a single sign on them here and is already December. I rarely EVER eat at McD’s cause I don’t for most of what they serve, but I ALWAYS look forward to the McRibs. I had a store manager once tell me they are messy and not cost effective which is why they are only served for a limited time. I’ll be disappointed if a Colorado gets skipped.

Hate that I can’t find one in Colorado!!!! Closest “unconfirmed” is in Amarillo, TX. I”m so disappointed! I don’t think I’ll be going back to any McD’s around Fountain/Colorado Springs. The workers and managers there were really rude when asking about the McRibs. It was like I was bothering them to inquire. #LostCostumers
