The majority of tips from fans and people in-the-know indicate if the McRib will return in your neighborhood that it will most likely be this coming Monday. This means that this coming McRib Monday will be the best of the year for many fans. Don’t be surprised if some locations start over the weekend, as some locations are excited to bring the McRib back as soon as they can (as Virginia already has). Earlier today CNBC provided a story related to the McRib and the 2014 release. Part of the story discussed an overview of the McRib for those that previously were unaware of what the McRib is (yes, there are still people who don’t know what a McRib is).

The story also highlighted that the release will not be nationwide, as recent McRib fans have been indicating. As we discussed last year, the McRib sales have brought success to quarterly reports in the past, so a limited release is interesting.

With today’s confirmation, here is a round up of what details we have received thus far regarding the McRib’s return in the United States.

1) We were tipped off previously that McRib production was spinning up. This indicates at least some locations will again be serving the McRib this year.

2) Later, we received a copy of an email with McDonalds indicating an October release.

3) October 3rd, a fan indicated that via Twitter he had found out the Capital Region of New York would not see the McRib this season.

4) Later on October 3rd, another fan indicated a Manager at their local McDonalds In San Jose, CA told them the McRib would not return there this season.

5) October 9th we received word that the McDonalds in Winner, SD had ordered McRib supplies making it the first location that will for sure serve the McRib this season.

6) Confirmation today that other locations would also be seeing a return of the McRib starting October 20th and going through November 16th. In-store informational details for employees regarding the McRibs return at some locations in Colorado were provided. We also have heard that Hopkinsville, KY and Louisville, KY will be starting around the 20th as well.

7) Which brings us to the confirmation in Virginia earlier today.
