The single best piece of advice we offer in response to this question is that you should let your local store manager know you want the McRib back. Some stores are independently operated, some work with others in a geographical region on advertising campaigns to best pool their budgets, and some are corporately owned. In any of the three cases, the store managers that hear a lot of requests should be able to pass this upstream and hopefully get some encouragement to a return in your area.
