Halloween 2017 Update
October 30th marked the return of the McRib to several locations across the country, an early halloween treat. between confirmations from fans (THANK YOU!) showing their receipts of their McRib purchase, to calling around the country, we continue to gather more information about what the McRib release of 2017 will look like. We will continue to provide updates as we find additional information.
Where is it now?
We currently have 15 locations that we can confirm are offering the McRib. The number of locations is likely more as many of these cities have multiple McDonalds and we are hearing from just a few. Check out our map to see the latest. Remember, markers with check marks are confirmed sightings.

Where is it going to be?
We know that there will be a few other release dates that the McRib will launch in various markets. November 2nd, 6th, 7th, and potentially dates during the week of November 12th.
We have thus far been able to find that the McRib will be on the menu within the next two weeks at:
- Columbia, SC
- North Platte, NE
- North Sioux City, SD
- Brookings, SD
- Mitchell, SD
- Dickinson, ND
- Fargo, ND
- Select locations in the Twin Cities, MN after more research, it appears the early hints this return may have been confusion by employees hearing it was back in general
Where will fans be left without the McRib?
Unfortunately, as we earlier indicated, this year will not see the McRib return nationwide. We found that the McRib will not be returning, or is not likely to return, in the following cities:
- Centerville, UT
- Phoenix, AZ
- Las Vegas, NV
- Colorado Springs, CO
- Denver, CO
- Scotsbluff, NE
- Chadron, NE
- Rapid City, SD
- St. Cloud, MN
- Duluth, MN
- Orlando, FL(must have been an uninformed employee)
- Eastern NY and New Jersey
- Portland, OR
- Sacramento, CA
Interestingly, we found that Jim Lewis, an owner of several McDonalds locations in New York is reporting that the majority of owners decided not to bring back the McRib this year. He also has a poll running to help gauge interest in the area of a McRib return.

Help others find the McRib
We have heard that some locations offering the McRib have severely constrained inventory, and do not expect the McRib to last long. Let’s help fans get the McRib while they can! I live in Orlando FL. And thankfully the #McRib has returned to the area in a couple stores so far.
Whoever said it wasn’t coming to #Orlando got that wrong.
I wish they would just make it a permanent thing or at least bring it back every couple,e of months.
Disappointment, we live near Flagstaff Arizona, love the McRib wish we could get it here.
waiting patiently for McRib…seen commercial last night went to 2 seperate locatio s in grovetown ga. no mcrib. do not advertise on tv if it is not available…any idea when mcrib will be back in ga?
Just heard most* Cincinnati area will NOT be bringing back the McRib… something along the lines of McD’s switching to “real ingredients” … I love that fake processed meat!!! Sad AF
It is real pork, so I don’t think that is the problem there.
It’s a CLASSIC bait and switch ploy! “Oh, it ‘might’ be at your local McDonald’s …” so, just head on down to be disappointed and then order something else to curb the appetite you saved for what isn’t going to be there anyway.
It should be a regular menu item before the over-hyped “signature” sandwiches. Look at the other responses and stop jerking the consumer around!
Why aren’t the McRibs coming back in Vegas
We didn’t get an answer why not, just that they were not.
Closest one here is 162 miles away….bring it everywhere
As a fan site we have no influence to which stores offer the sandwich. Let your local store manager know you want it back!
