Food Flashback Premiere
Coming up Thursday November 16th, 2017 and again Saturday November 18th, 2017 is the premiere of a new television show titled Food Flashback on the Cooking Channel. The pilot episode it titled Comeback Kids and the synopsis is:
Food historian Jason Liebig takes a trip down memory lane exploring snacks and treats from our past that have gone away only to return again. He examines the nostalgic power of the Twinkie, meets the forces behind the comeback of Surge soda, witnesses the historic return of Oreo O’s cereal and goes on a hunt for an elusive fast food sandwich.
While each of the topics presented will be certain to entertain, take special note of the last bit about a hunt for an elusive fast food sandwich. I can tell you that this last segment is about a certain Pork sandwich! I was fortunate enough to have been a contributor to this episode that the folks at 441 Productions team and Jason Liebig put together. While I can’t go much into the specifics of the content (I did get to ride around in a classic AMC Matador station wagon), I think it will be well worth your time to take a look at this episode of this fun new show.
Disclaimer: 441 Productions did pay for travel expenses so that I could participate in this episode. They did not pay for me to create this post.
The AMC Matador station wagon truely is a sweet ride.
Food Flashback premiers Thursday November16th at 8pmET/5pmPT on COOKING CHANNEL Replays again that night at 12amET/9pmPT and one more time on Saturday November 17th at 1pmET/10am PT.
