2019 McRib Update : Current State Availability

We wanted to take a moment to provide an update on the availability of the McRib thus far this season. As of October 8, 2019, 10:30 pm Central Time the McRib Locator has received 424 McRib confirmations.  While we are excited to see the McRib pop up in locations it hasn’t been for years, we are still seeing large gaps in where the sandwich is being offered.

It was reported here year ago, I think they were told by that Mcdonalds they were coming?, I would go talk to the manager and find out why were not getting them it’s a decision by the owner i heard, there are 3 near me in Vernon I will be going to them and asking why no McRib

What kind of a store are you? You completely leave out Wyoming in the availability of the McRib sandwich, we used to be able to get them at the Powell /Cody Wyoming stores. But not now I guess you don’t want our business and that stinks. That is a good sandwich and I for one have waited for it to come back. But you obviously don’t care about the customers here in Wyoming the nearest store for us is in Montana 100 miles away. Thanks for nothing, that really stinks, I was really looking forward to seeing them back but NO WE DONT RATE.

We are a fan site, not an actual store. As we have posted a few other times, we are trying to help others find the McRib. Let your local store manager know about your disappointment as they help make the decision to the McRib returning in their market.

“First one of the season”! Consider yourself lucky. I haven’t had one since the 1980’s.
      Enjoy!!

Colorado was missed last year and now 2 places only in Denver which is not close. This is getting irritating they don’t release it everywhere, Makes me not want to go there when they don’t care about customers!

Completely agree. I remember when I was a kid in the early 1980’s and it was on the menu permanently in Queens Ny. It sucks because It would definitely bring a lot of revenue to stores choosing to serve it. I drove to two different locations in CT this afternoon during my lunch break and when I mentioned it on the drive through the person had no idea what it even is.

I was out looking for at least a poster on the window at my local mcdonalds, you should of asked for a manager and ask them why, First time i saw McRib was a empty box, i was working for Avis and cleaning cars, the car had NY plates…and thought wow looks good this was 1981

Was at a McD’s yesterday in CT. The entire staff there had no idea what a McRib even was, let alone why no CT or NY store has them.

I live in Connecticut too and am very upset about this.
      I haven’t had a McRib in over 10 years.
It seems as though they’re trying to pull the wool over our eyes. They aren’t in ANY state is what I’m seeing!
I’m boycotting McDonald’s. This is bull.

It is interesting to note that mc Donald’s has apparently chosen to leave out New York in it’ s McRib distribution!!!
We here in NewYork do not appreciate this form of discrimination, and I know for a fact it will hit every Mc D franchise in the pocketbook through the whole holiday season! It is also noteworthy that the very good and popular large Big Mac was also pulled from our area after a short but successful introduction in favor of basically what appear to be California junk sandwiches. We here like our junk food simple and well known, get your stupid marketing people to look at areas and people, of trends based on a failed states alleged healthy foods lists
Give New York back it’s ribs and giant Big Macs, we are where the money is and right now Mc Donald’s is beginning to fail us.

Minnesota has been left out as well. Considering the only competition in my town to McDonald’s is Dairy Queen I guess I should petition the city to kick the arches out and bring in the Wendy’s or Burger King. I guess the golden arches doesn’t care about their customers. Interestingly most of the states and cities left out are Democratic states! Talk about political discrimination.

None here in Connecticut either. Shameful. But hey, don’t worry because they are available in the Ukraine. Go figure.

Better off buying OnCor pork patties or going to Subway and they have a similar McRib, CT was snubbed again

Chris, was actually able to fine the Oncor bbq rib patties. I made myself a “McRib” and it wasn’t bad. Unfortunately it’s been decades since I actually had a McRib that I don’t remember how the BBQ sauce tasted.

          2. Chris

I never tried them, I would assume the sauce included isn’t very good, I would add sweet baby ray’s, pickles and hoagie roll
